The Green Grocers is committed to organic, local and ethical produce. We never knowingly source products that use GM ingredients.

Our sourcing policy is to chose organic and local first, then local, then organic.

Local to us means Norfolk first, then Suffolk, then Cambridgeshire and Essex. We are demanding - we expect high quality and high standards with good presentation. If suppliers cannot meet our requirements we do not sell their produce.

If you are interested in supplying The Green Grocers we expect the following: A copy of the Soil Association certification (or equivalent for fruit and vegetables); excellent quality of produce; and a high standard of service -  temperature controlled deliveries (if required); compliance of environmental health, and trading standard regulations on labelling; excellent presentation; and regular and consistent delivery times. 

We will consider local produce that is not certified organic provided it has a record of high animal welfare (rare breed, RSPCA approved), being pesticide free and produced in an environmentally sustainable way.
